Ingolstadt (DE): New leaflet about Fort Prinz Karl

The board and advisory board of the Förderverein Bayerische Landesfestung Ingolstadt e.V. present the new leaflet

The Förderverein Bayerische Landesfestung Ingolstadt e.V. has published a large leaflet on Fort Prinz Karl. It shows an elaborate three-dimensional reconstruction of the fort as it was in 1895 after the building was reinforced. In addition, the entire eventful history of the fort with all its various uses up to the present day is presented. The leaflet contains numerous pictures, diagrams, sectional drawings and explanations of the historical utilisation of the building.

The leaflet was designed by Mariusz Wojciechowski from Poland, who has already created a wide range of 3D visualisations in the past and has become well-known for his plans of fortifications in Poznan, for example. A complete overview of Fort Prince Charles with this high level of detail has never been seen before in this form.

The leaflet is available for four euros from the Bavarian Army Museum, the Support organisation and during guided tours of Fort Prinz Karl, which are organised by the Association for the Promotion of the Army Museum. Copies will also soon be available in the city museum.
